From Local Commitment to Coalition Readiness

Building the foundation for long-term prevention.

In 2025, C.H.A.N.G.E. received a Round 2 Coalition Partnership Empowerment award through the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership. The planning-year investment helped the coalition strengthen its structure, data practices, youth engagement, and readiness for federal Drug-Free Communities funding.

Training That Supports Action

Coalition representatives participated in CADCA’s Opioid Academy, Forum, and Mid-Year Training Institute. The training strengthened practical skills in logic-model development, community assessment, local data use, youth participation, and coalition operations.

Youth at the Planning Table

C.H.A.N.G.E. is committed to planning with young people, not simply for them. Youth perspectives, school relationships, and community data help the coalition develop prevention strategies that fit the people and culture of England.

Ready to Grow Responsibly

The coalition built stronger reporting, receipt tracking, milestone documentation, and grant-management habits while preparing and submitting a Drug-Free Communities application. These systems support responsible stewardship of future funding.
